Soccer Manager Ltd has undergone an exciting rebrand and is making the transition to become known as Invincibles Studio.
The new name has been inspired by the company’s footballing roots and location in the North-West of England. Indeed, the significance of this new moniker will be recognised by any football fan who knows the history of English clubs.
Soccer Manager Ltd was formed in Preston, Lancashire. We are extremely proud of our Prestonian roots and those in the know will recognise that The Invincibles is one of the nicknames associated with Preston North End, the company’s local club.
Like the Old Invincible players of PNE, the team here at Invincibles Studio are truly unflinching in their quest for success. We endeavour to design and produce the best online games and from looking at our recent successes, one can clearly observe that we have been unyielding in achieving our vision.
Throughout the past two decades, we have indeed been Invincible in our approach to making our mark in the online gaming industry and we are continuing to strive to raise our game and produce the best quality football management games in the world.
Founded in 2004, under the name Soccer Manager Ltd, Invincibles Studio Ltd has been a long-time front runner in the online gaming industry. Over the years, we have grown from strength to strength and are now a team of over fifty as well as having a resident company well-being dog (Mai). We also enjoy regular, paid team building events such as trips to major sporting events, group challenges and socials.
Of our progress to date, perhaps one of the most notable is the partnership we have formed with Mercia Asset Management. This alliance led, in 2021, to a £3m boost in funding to support the company’s plans for growth. Furthermore, we have forged exciting, high profile partnerships with leading football clubs including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen as well as partnering with The Scottish Football League and Bundesliga. We have also secured a multi-year FIFPRO Licence as well as cultivating and growing our relationship with one of the best Managers in football, Mikel Arteta.
Boasting triple digit revenue growth with our flagship game, we are proud to report that Soccer Manager 2022 has achieved 5m downloads in the first six months since launch. Looking to the future, the company is now expanding its headcount and portfolio with three further titles currently in development for launch later this year.
CEO Chris Gore says “It is an exciting time for the company as it continues to grow rapidly. The name change allows us to diversify our portfolio whilst staying true to the sport that launched our journey”.
We are looking forward to some very exciting times ahead!
