The Soccer Manager 2027 Open Beta has now been released on Android & iOS!
The most exciting time of the year has come around again – the SM27 beta is here!
We have a LOT in store for you with the release of SM27. Our focus for this year was increasing the depth of the game, adding new features to increase the immersion, and expanding on things that are already in there to really bring an extra level of realism to the SM series. As for the specifics:
- Club Archetypes, a system that gives each club a unique identity and objectives to achieve, in keeping with their real-life philosophies.
- The Ballon D’Or Award, recognising the best player, young player, goalkeeper, manager, and club in each season.
- Immersive Continental Cup Draws, giving you a fully simulated draw experience that shows the strength of your opposition and how your fans feel about your path to the knockouts.
- A Squad Planner, letting you map out the future of your squad in more detail and prepare for the transfer window.
- Match Motion improvements, including updated, higher-resolution player models and general visual upgrades.
- Full UI update across the game, including a particular focus on the tactics screen.
- Our second year as a continuous app, so you can pick up your saves in SM27 right where you left off in SM26 (Please note that if you transfer your 26 saves to SM27, you cannot go back)
- A major overhaul of the Steam UI to take better advantage of the larger screens of PCs.
- Lots of inbox messages have been rewritten to be a bit more immersive.
- A full behind-the-scenes rewrite of the tactics system to make it work much better.
