Soccer Manager 2026 Kicks Off a New Era for the Series

Soccer Manager 2026 has officially been released across Android, iOS, and Steam!

The latest instalment in our long-running Soccer Manager series hit the stores across all of our platforms earlier today and we’re incredibly excited to get it into the hands of our community. Soccer Manager 2026 ushers in an exciting new era for the series as we add new features to the game and a new way of delivering yearly updates.

Soccer Manager 2026’s defining feature is the move towards what we call a continuous app. Gone are the days where our users have to reinstall the app every year and start from scratch. Starting with today’s launch, all future iterations will be released as updates for the app that you already have installed. This means all of your saves and progress will come with you from year to year, iteration to iteration, making for a much more seamless experience.

The improvements don’t just stop at the continuous app though. Soccer Manager 2026 features a whole host of exciting new features that were shaped by user comments throughout our incredibly successful beta. After planning our work around what our community wanted to see, we brought these new features to the table:

  • An upgraded objectives system, featuring a new category of daily rewards and an expanded offering of club-level objectives to work towards.
  • An overhauled traits system, with save-level manager trait trees that provide new ways to play and customise your manager.
  • Huge improvements to the Match Motion engine, including animation improvements, lighting changes, and so many more to bring the matchday action to your fingertips like never before.
  • Our yearly UI refresh has been bigger than ever before, with a slick new colour scheme and huge changes across the board to make the game more intuitive to play.
  • Plenty of fixes and changes for longstanding bugs and community gripes that delivers our most fluid experience yet.

Soccer Manager 2026 aims to deliver an authentic experience, with official licenses from DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga (Bundesliga 1 and 2) and Manchester City, plus partnerships with SpudBros, Undr The Cosh, and Sport Social, who appear as in-game sponsors. Players can even jump into Create-A-Club mode and take charge as the SpudBros or the Undr The Cosh lads themselves.

The release of Soccer Manager 2026 sets us up for an exciting period as a company. The work done in the background to facilitate the move to the continuous app means that we have more flexibility to deliver bigger updates more often for our users. One of our key values as a company is community and we plan to put them at the heart of the Soccer Manager roadmap for years to come.
