We decided to focus our efforts on creating the best possible mobile experience for this year.
Creating a game on multiple platforms creates quite a few problems for our codebase. We always want to deliver a game that lives up to the expectations of our community and is of the absolute highest quality. With that in mind, we’ve concentrated on delivering our best mobile game yet.
SM24 is set to be our biggest release yet! We’ve added a number of new features, including:
- International Management
- Manager Customisation
- Overhauled visuals
- Expanded continental club competitions
We’ve added support for the Saudi Arabian league to Soccer Manager 2024. We’ve also expanded European competitions, adding the third tier to the game.
Never say never! We’re always looking to expand the Soccer Manager series, and you can help us do it. The in-game database for the game is curated by our community over at SoccerWiki.org, so if you want to increase the odds of a new league being added, head over there to help maintain the database for it!
If you run into an in-game issue, please make sure you submit a report through the in-game reporter. This will either automatically pop up, or you can get to it manually by heading to settings, then to “help”, and then to “bug report”.
We also take bug reports over on our Discord server! When leaving a report here, make sure you leave us your User ID (found in the in-game settings menu) and the device that you’re on, along with as much detail as possible about the issue you encountered.
Yes! If you had a save during our Open Beta, all your progress and your purchases will carry over to the full game.
No; SM23 and SM24 are separate games and your progress from one will not carry over into the other – sorry!
Yes! As your manager level improves, you’ll receive offers to manage a national team at the same time as your club.
Soccer Manager 2024 requires an internet connection at all times in order to work correctly. This internet connection is used for some key functions of the game, and to help deliver free rewards to you through the reward ads system!

To be able to see images and names, you need to select a data pack. These packs contain the names of clubs, players, and competitions, all pulled from our community-curated SoccerWiki.org. You can select a data pack in the “settings” menu on the main menu and then start a new game to make the changes happen.
Also – make sure you have a good wifi connection and enable “image display” in settings!
If you buy an item on Android and it does not come through, please get in touch with us through the in-game support system, found by pressing the “help” button in the settings menu. Make sure you provide us with your transaction ID for the purchase when submitting a report (this can be found in your payment confirmation email and begins with GPA)!
If your purchase on iOS does not come through, we are unfortunately unable to issue refunds directly as Apple does not allow us to do so. You will instead need to contact Apple’s support directly to request a refund, sorry!
We are not currently aware of any bugs that would prevent you from buying a player, so please follow these steps to make sure there’s not another issue:
- Make sure you are not in debt and that you have enough cash for the player.
- Approach players who are interested in transferring – sometimes players are happy where they are!
- Try to offer over the player’s value to increase the chances of the other club accepting your bid.
- Negotiate your contracts quickly!
If you follow all of the above, you should be able to sign your dream target!
We do not currently offer a way for you to reset your manager profile, sorry! This feature could result in unexpected issues such as lost coins, items, lost manager history, and stats. Due to this, we have a policy of not offering a way to reset your profile.
The best way to prevent crashes is to make sure you close other apps before playing as these can take up memory and other device resources. If you’re still running into issues, try deleting some apps and files that you don’t use to free up some space.
We’re always working to improve the performance of the game, so if you’ve followed the above steps and still have problems, submit a bug report in-game so we can look into why it might be happening!
The VIP packages disable adverts around matches but keep in optional adverts that let you earn boosts. These do not slow down your progress and are fully optional to watch!
When creating your own club, you need to make sure you’ve filled in your stadium’s name, your club’s name, and have two kits for home and away that are distinctly different from one another.
New save slots are only visible when saving an existing game or starting up a new game. If you’re just trying to load up an existing game, the empty slots will not be visible on this screen.
